5 Simple Tips to Slow Ageing

All of us want to look beautiful and youthful always. But, the kind of lifestyle that we lead, only promotes ageing further.  You will one day ask yourself, how do i slow down aging? 1. Drink Enough Water


If you do not want to look older and have dull skin then you must drink enough water every day. Water not only helps eliminate toxins from your body but even lubricates the joints. It helps keep your face looking plump and youthful. So, make sure you drink 8 – 10 glasses of water every day to enjoy the benefits.


2. Eat Right


Fried, sugar-rich, and junk food can lead to premature ageing. If you eat too much of such foods then it can damage your skin’s collagen, cause dehydration, and more wrinkles. It is thus best to avoid eating such foods as much as you can.


Instead, eat lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and good fats to keep looking young for a long time.


3. Follow a Proper Skincare Routine


Now, this is ignored by many, and one of the main reasons why people attract fine lines and wrinkles so fast. It is very important to cleanse, tone, and moisturize your skin twice a day. Use products that are ideal for your age and skin type.


Never go to bed without removing your makeup as that can not only invite pimples but also wrinkles. Also, never step out during the daytime without applying good sunscreen. Sun rays are extremely damaging for the skin and can make you age fast.

4. Sleep Well


It is when you sleep that your body gets the chance to rejuvenate and repair. And, if you do not get enough sleep, then it can increase the cortisol levels in your body. This can cause oxidative stress and affect the blood sugar levels in your body.


Gradually, signs of ageing will start appearing even if you may be too young for it. So, if you want to enjoy looking youthful for a long time, do get a proper night’s sleep.


5. Do Not Stress


If you have the habit of taking too much stress then that too can increase the cortisol levels. Not only will you then suffer from issues like diabetes and obesity, but will also attract wrinkles.


It is thus important to avoid taking stress. To de-stress yourself you can listen to some relaxing music, practice yoga or meditation, or simply go out for a walk.
