General conditions of entry (check entry form for additional conditions)

1. Queanbeyan Art Society (QAS) financial members only unless it is an OPEN exhibition.
2. All works must be ready to hang with artist’s name, title, media and price D rings on the back of the painting or they could be rejected.
3. Artwork to have been produced in the last 18 months.
4. Painting not to exceed 1sqm including frame any larger extra $5.
5. Painting to be the original work of the exhibitor.
6. Work must not have been entered in previous month Competition/Exhibition.
7. All paintings must be for sale. There will be a 20% commission on all sales.
8. All care taken by QAS but no responsibility for loss, damage or theft.
9. Maximum of paintings - check entry form for the exhibition and two miniatures equals one painting a miniature is a painting sized 10x10cm; framed 30x30cm.
10. Stretched canvases will be accepted unframed BUT sides must be clean or painted.
11. The committee reserves the right to reject any work.
12. Paintings must remain at the Gallery for the duration of the Exhibition, unless sold and the artist can replace a painting under the same conditions.
13. QAS reserves the right to reproduce any artworks for promotional purposes.
14. Artists must declare if GST registered, hobby artist or ABN holder.
